1. iPhone 11

The iPhone 11 is the least expensive iPhone to get released in 2019. Although the name may not say so, it’s the literal successor of the last year’s iPhone XR. The handset comes with a handful of upgrades over its predecessor because of which, it’s quite on demand in the market.

The major upgrade here is the camera. Apple has included an additional lens on the back. That means the new iPhone 11 comes with a dual-camera setup on the back. In addition to the already existing 12MP primary shooter, you get another 12MP wide-angle camera. Even the selfie snapper has received an upgrade. You get a 12MP front camera here, which promises to capture amazing selfies.

Apart from that, the iPhone 11 comes with IP68 dust and water resistance, a slightly bigger battery, and more importantly, a powerful processor. However, Apple has included an HD display on the phone yet again, which is a bummer in 2019. Talking more about the display, it’s a 6.1-inches Liquid Retina IPS panel. Besides that, it is powered by the latest Hexa-core Apple A13 Bionic chipset, which is the same chipset in the Pro & the Pro Max variant.

Talking about the price, the iPhone 11 price in Nepal starts from Rs. 1,10,000. This price is for the 64GB variant, which might not be sufficient. Hence, its better you add an additional Rs. 8,000 and get the 128GB variant instead.

2. iPhone 11 Pro

The iPhone 11 Pro is the first smartphone in Apple’s lineup to come with the “Pro” moniker. But that doesn’t mean it’s an entirely new lineup from the company. It’s the successor of the iPhone XS and the “Pro” was added here to make it sound fancier. And for the proof, you can see it has a similar kind of design and the same form factor. Even the size of the display remains the same i.e. 5.8-inch. However, the HDR contents are said to be better on the new iPhone 11 Pro. 3. iPhone 11 Pro Max

Just profound as its name, the iPhone 11 Pro Max comes with a ton of features all at a maxed out level. Apple released this model to especially target multimedia enthusiasts. It carries the same set of specs, which is found on the less expensive iPhone 11 Pro. But what differentiates the “Pro Max” model from the regular “Pro” model is its bigger battery and a bigger display.

Just like with the iPhone XS and XS Max, the differences between the iPhone 11 Pro & Pro Max are limited to the display and battery. The camera setup and performance are all the same. Ergo, the iPhone 11 Pro Max is for those looking for the best of iPhone. However, I strongly feel that Apple should bump the onboard storage by at least double because the 64GB storage that it comes it feels almost like cheating at this point. With about 20-25% already covered by system partitions and whatnot, people buying the base variant of the iPhone 11 Pro Max have very little to play around with. An SD card has never been a thing in iPhones, so at least 128GB of internal storage is warranted.

10. iPhone SE 2 (iPhone SE 2020)

The new iPhone SE (2020) or the iPhone SE 2 as everyone’s calling it, packs a damn powerful A13 Bionic chipset, has an IP rating, wireless charging, all for the starting price of just $399.

5. iPhone XR

In the pursuit of making a flagship phone affordable, Apple launched the iPhone XR in 2018 for the budget-conscious populace. Like the flagship iPhone XS and XS Max, the iPhone XR comes with the Apple A12 Bionic chipset, which is still powerful even to this date. The phone also embraces the same 12MP rear camera found on its more expensive siblings.

But unlike the premium XS and XS Max, the iPhone XR comes with just a single shooter on the back. The display panel uses an LCD display instead of AMOLED panel. The resolution is also merely HD+. But for $250 less, such cutdown does make some sense. Interestingly, the price it came at, made the iPhone XR a really interesting value proposition and was thus able to become not just the highest selling iPhone of 2019, but the most selling smartphone overall.

6. iPhone XS

iPhone XR is a good device and may suffice the needs of many. But due to the tradeoffs on the display and camera front, the smartphone may not be for everyone. So if you want a full-fledged flagship device, the iPhone XS is there for you. The handset comes with a 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED display with a pixel density of 458PPI. So in addition to being vibrant and lively, the contents on it look quite sharp. Furthermore, you get an extra 12MP shooter on the back with which you can capture images with 2x Zooming. It also allows you to capture images with more precise edge detection.

Additionally, it also has an IP68 rating and though the display is smaller compared to iPhone XR, it is a superior OLED panel and also has HDR10 support. There’s a big bathtub notch like the most of the new-gen iPhones, which houses a 7MP selfie camera, and a whole bunch of sensors.

8. iPhone 8

iPhone 8 is the only phone right now with a smaller 4.7-inch display. The phone is also not very compact thanks to a big bezel on the top and bottom. You get a touch ID (fingerprint sensor) on the bottom.

It is powered by A11 Bionic chipset along with 2GB of RAM. It is available in 2 storage configurations: 64GB and 256GB. The 12MP single rear camera and the 7MP selfie camera still outperform some of the premium midrange phones of 2020. 9. iPhone 8 Plus

iPhone 8 Plus is a bigger sibling of the iPhone 8. Announced back in 2017, the phone was kind of mixed bag and was overshadowed by a much attractive looking iPhone X. In terms of looks, it is identical to the iPhone 7 Plus, making it boring for smartphone enthusiasts.

10. iPhone X (iPhone 10) 

iPhone X revolutionized the smartphone industry by offering a new design in the form of notches on the top half of the display. The notch houses an IR sensor that scans your face and unlocks the phone in less than a second.
